A salt-air coffee shop on the Santa Cruz shoreline, and a food truck that chases the same warm vibes up and down the coast. This is its brand identity.
Gnarly Beans is built for the people who live by the water: surfers chasing the dawn patrol, families padding in from the sand, road-trippers following the coast. The brand had to feel like the place itself: warm, salt-worn and completely unhurried.
Because the coffee doesn't stay put, a converted food truck carries the same energy along the shoreline. Every piece of the system is made to travel and still feel at home.

A surfboard stands in for the L in GNARLY. It is the single move that turns a wordmark into a coastline.
Salt, sun and slow mornings. The feeling the brand is built around.
Colors pulled straight from the coast.
